During a period of disability (thanks, spinal issues), I discovered the garageband app and it re-kindled my love of music after so many years.

After nearly a quarter century of inactivity, getting back into music was like getting back on a bike. BAM, I dove into what I love best, songwriting. All the songs I hummed for years are now becoming reality.

Songs, riffs, melodies...they just flow in like driftwood and I aim to craft them into art. I'm inspired lyrically by the planet, psychological experiences, and poking fun at human behavior.

Ogre was a college nickname since I'm big and back then, well, rather...grouchy and not tuned in. (That's putting it nicely...) Since then I discovered anxiety management and meditation and helped with being a better human being.
